Description

Students test the chemical properties of seven different solutions by mixing them in each possible combination and observing their reactions. Evidence of chemical reactions observed include gas production, color changes, and formation of precipitates. After becoming familiar with the chemical properties of the solutions, students use this information to identify any of the four unkNOwn solutions. The kit includes all required chemicals, reaction plates, additional bottles for making student group chemical sets, reproducible student procedures, reproducible worksheets, and complete answer keys. Designed for 24 students working in six groups of four. Meets national standards for grades 9-12.
